Reception & Billing, Pharmacy and Laboratory are licensed separately. You can use one module or any combination required by your hospital.
Try the software with full access for 15 days. No credit card is required. Activate a perpetual licence when you are ready to continue.
Set up receipt or report printers and choose a regular backup destination before going live.
Create a few test patients, bills and reports to make sure your workflow and printing are configured correctly.
NexEMR Lite does not require a central server or cloud connection for routine use.
A small hospital or clinic can run the modules it needs on the same computer, with the required module licences activated for that workstation.
Reception, Pharmacy and Laboratory can also run on separate computers. Each workstation keeps its own local database and NexEMR Lite does not automatically sync data between those computers.
Need live shared data across many workstations or locations? NexEMR Lite is deliberately simpler than a networked enterprise hospital information system. See the comparison page to understand where it fits.
Keep a regular backup copy on an external drive that is not permanently attached to the computer.
If your hospital already has local network storage, it can be used as an additional backup destination.
Keep an additional copy away from the primary computer so a hardware failure does not affect every backup.
Your hospital remains responsible for maintaining backups. Routine patient data is stored locally rather than continuously uploaded to Chounda Tech. See our privacy policy.
Selected structured data such as opening pharmacy stock or supported patient information may be imported from suitable spreadsheet or CSV files during onboarding.
Migration from another EMR or hospital management system, complex legacy databases or scanned paper records is assessed separately and may be chargeable.
