Subject to payment and these terms, Chounda Tech (OPC) Private Limited ("Chounda Tech") grants the purchasing hospital a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use each purchased NexEMR Lite module on the purchased release line. Each module is licensed and priced separately, per workstation.
The licence is granted to a single named hospital or facility for its own internal operations.
Each module licence covers one workstation. A hospital wishing to run a licensed module on an additional workstation must purchase an additional licence for that module.
The hospital may not sell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute NexEMR Lite to any third party.
Except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law, the hospital may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
Each NexEMR Lite module may be evaluated free of charge for 15 days with full functionality. No payment details are required to start a trial. Continued use after the trial period requires purchase of a licence.
Purchasing a licence is a one-time payment. There is no recurring or subscription fee for continued use of a purchased module.
Purchases may be processed using Razorpay payment infrastructure. Prices are as stated at the time of purchase.
Eligible software updates for the purchased release line are provided subject to these terms and any applicable maintenance arrangement.
One year of standard support is included from purchase. Support scope is described on our support page.
The hospital owns all data it enters into NexEMR Lite. Chounda Tech does not claim ownership of hospital operational or patient data.
The hospital is responsible for lawful collection and use of patient data, staff access controls, and compliance with applicable healthcare and data-protection regulations in its jurisdiction.
The hospital is responsible for configuring and maintaining regular backups of its local database. Chounda Tech provides backup safeguards within the application but is not responsible for data loss arising from hospital hardware failure, user error, or inadequate backup practices.
The hospital is responsible for the security of its own computers, network, passwords, and physical access controls.
NexEMR Lite is administrative and record-keeping software. It does not provide medical advice and does not replace clinical judgement. All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of qualified medical staff.
NexEMR Lite may interoperate with third-party services such as Razorpay and, where configured, Tailscale. Chounda Tech is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.
The hospital is responsible for providing suitable hardware, operating system, printers, and network infrastructure as described in our system requirements.
NexEMR Lite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind except as expressly stated in these terms or required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Chounda Tech's liability arising from use of NexEMR Lite is limited to the amount paid for the licence.
Chounda Tech may suspend or terminate a licence for material breach of these terms, including unauthorised redistribution of the application.
These terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW PLACEHOLDER], India.
Each module includes a 15-day free trial — we encourage completing this evaluation before purchase. A refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase if the module does not function as described on this site and the issue cannot be resolved by support. Refunds do not apply to change-of-mind requests, issues caused by third-party hardware or network configuration, or requests made after the 7-day window. To request one, contact [email protected] with your order details; approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and the associated licence is deactivated.
